About This Project
A long-lost travel cartoon idea, rediscovered and brought online for a new generation of readers.
The Original Idea
Between 2001 and 2004, I was fascinated with the idea of travel and vacation cartoons. During that time, I came up with hundreds of cartoon concepts and ideas. In 2004, I hired a group of ten cartoon artists to illustrate some of them, with the goal of creating a series that could be sold to travel magazines.
The Rediscovery
For a variety of reasons, the project never got off the ground. Then, in 2026, I rediscovered the original cartoons and realized they could easily be shared online for others to enjoy.
The New Chapter
Shortly after that, I discovered that AI could help me generate cartoons based on my old ideas. That inspired me to create this website as a showcase for both the original artist-drawn cartoons and the new AI-generated ones.
It has been an enjoyable learning experience, and I plan to add new cartoons every few weeks as time allows.
